Fall Means Fun in Tiburon

Summer might be officially over but there’s no need to lament the bygone season. From vin-frites Mondays and a Paris-themed literary event to the Tiburon Wine Festival and Halloween movies, Marin County’s prettiest bayside town keeps the fun-in-the-sun vibes going well into fall. Below are just a few autumnal attractions to put on your calendar.

Mondays @ Petite Left Bank
Drop by Petite Left Bank on Monday nights and enjoy 50% off any bottle of wine, that comes paired with a complimentary order of golden, crispy pommes frites. Let’s just call these Mondays magnifique, shall we?

Tuesdays @ The Bungalow Kitchen
Tuesdays just got better at The Bungalow Kitchen by Michael Mina, now open on Tuesdays for sunset sips from 4-6 p.m., and late-night cocktails from 9 – 10:30 p.m.

41st Annual Tiburon Wine Festival Saturday October 5, 2024
Raise a glass to the good life at the Tiburon Wine Festival, welcoming 60 + wineries, 10 restaurants, and live music for a glorious afternoon by the bay. One ticket includes a chance to taste wine from Napa, Sonoma and as far afield as Italy and Hungary. Local restaurants including The Bungalow Kitchen by Michael Mina, Woodlands Market, Luna Blu, Servino Ristorante, Tiburon Tavern, Caffe Acri, Salt & Pepper, The Caprice, The Petite Left Bank and Jane /Marin Bakery will be serving delicious bites, also included in the $95 per person ticket price.

Must be at least 21 years old to attend. Please bring valid government-issued photo ID to enter.

Note: No infants, strollers or animals will be allowed on event grounds. This is a rain or shine event.

Paris Lost and Found: A Memoir of Love, Monday, October 7, 2024
Paris is always a good idea, especially when it drops by the Belvedere Tiburon Library. American in Paris Scott Dominic Carpenter will present his latest book, Paris Lost and Found: A Memoir of Love, a poignant and humorous look at life, love, and loss in the City of Light. The audience will love his signature wit and keen eye for detail, can get their books signed and enjoy a Q&A session with the author. Register HERE

Family Halloween & Disco Sunday, October 27, 2024
Dress your little ghosts and goblins in costume and moonwalk over to Cinelounge Tiburon for a a frightfully fun and family-friendly Halloween Disco and Movie Night! A DJ will spin spooky tunes, and there will be themed food, including delicious small bites and an edible graveyard. Hands-on activity stations designed by 38north Kids will entertain with sensory play and art experiences, plus there will be a DIY scavenger hunt. Then gather your gremlins and enjoy a kid-friendly Halloween movie screening. This event is aimed at children aged 2 - 10. Tickets are $45 each, and adults get in free.

Werewolf Double Feature, Sunday October 27, 2024
Howling Halloweens don’t get better than a werewolf double feature. Aah-ooo!

The night kicks off with Werewolf Serenade, the latest film from local legend Daedalus Howell. Daedalus and his producer/designer and creative partner, Kary Hess, will be joining the Cinelounge Tiburon team in person for an exclusive Q&A session, giving the audience a rare chance to explore the creative process behind the film and hear the inside story straight from the director.

After Werewolf Serenade, stick around for a screening of the iconic horror classic An American Werewolf in London (1981). The night will also include a round of werewolf trivia (with some cool prizes).

Diwali by the Bay Celebration, Saturday, November 2, 2024
Bring the whole family down to Main Steet for a colorful afternoon of music and dancing, A Kulfi (yummy Indian ice cream) cart, Henna, bangles, and bindis, special cocktails, mocktails, and dishes from local restaurant. Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights. It symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
